How did you do it and how does it look like when the lights are on?

Don't know how it looks it hasn't been dark yet. Got the idea off here, quite a few people have done it. Basically just pull the clear lens part off the housing and paint the inside and mask off any parts you don't want to paint. I used rattle can plastic adhesion primer and acrylic gloss black. It can be quite difficult to seperate the lens from the housing as the grey adhesive Mitsu used is TOUGH stuff.. I used my kitchen oven, cranked it up HOT and sat the parts inside for say ten seconds, heats it up well, pry apart a little with flat head screwdriver, used stanley knife to cut away adhesive a bit, repeat.. once painted just heat the part a little more to soften adhesive and jam everything back together. Pretty easy :)

australians been doing this for a while. i love it personally. a couple have done it on the 5th gens with similar results.
Some people just need to stay away from cars altogether. car modding and driving should not be an entitlement for everyone.

Yeah I think it looks great too. Surprisingly, the light output at night doesn't change much. I was looking for ages and there is very little difference.

i did this to my car and it looks pretty good.. you won't even notice any changes on the light output.. you just have to make sure that your lights are sealed well to avoid moisture.. :D
