OK, I've been looking all over creation and can't find the injectors that I need for my setup.  I want something over 240cc (will accept 240 if I have to - Lancer right?).  Just trying to keep the price down as much as possible.  Trying not to spend more than 150.00.  Looking on E-bay and find stuff but since I am unsure if the ones I am looking at are the right ones I am apprehensive to order.

I'll have the SAFC-II hooked up so bigger is OK too cause I'll be able to tune it down.  Again, not RC Eng for 85 a piece  :roll: but something a little more reasonable.

I've been reading and searching the board but one person will say these xxx fit" and the next thread will be someone sayin "no they don't"  So now I'm just confused :)

crap, even a clear list of the cars I can get them from would be good and I can find them myself.

US Lancer 2000+
3000GT year???  (6G72 Mivec)
Stealth year??? (6G72 Mivec)
Eclipse 1 or 2G (I think 2G as the 1G were low-imp....right??)
RX-7 years?? (Buffy, did you ever get yours to fit?)

And what's the resistor everyone talks about for? Turning low-imp into high imp. or something else?  Quez said "Resistors will save your life and your motor. "  Why?? How?

I only clicked on two of those links because I am stealing internet time at work.

Here is the scoop on injectors. You already know the difference between low and high, I am assuming. Our cars have high impedance injectors, and 99% of all the performance injectors out there are for low impedance type cars. If you run low impedance injectors in a high impedance car, you will fry the ECU eventually (ask Prench what happened to him) because the car is looking to read one resistance and is getting something much lower. Most of the Honda guys get a resistor box and connect that inline with the injectors and that changes the resistance to high. I dont know much about this and I did not even bother with this dilemma. I consulted with the turbo guru, the Great one, and he recommended if I did not want to bother with this, just to get some RX-7 high impedance injectors and that is what I did.

Nopw the fitment of injectors that you are talking about is probably not more so of the injector fitting into the rail but fitting the correct profile for the car. 240cc from the Lancers fit and they are the right impedance but I dont knwo if that is enough fuel for you.

275cc out of the MIVECs work too but to get them is a pain. Dont know the impedance of the new RalliArts but they are probably high impedance too.

My RX-7s required a longer fuel rail bolt and pretty much that was it.

I'm pretty sure Q has an extra set 460 on hand not sure bout the year but i'm very sure that they are 19500-2010 hi imp.
p&p bench. 1.5 on the bench. new procedure added to improve intake to head airflow 4g93 only.
hope to have 1.5 stuff soon.

The only 3xx cc injectors I have seen people get are from overseas. Dont know of any 3xx cc injecotrs high impedance state side. They could exist, I just dont know about them.

look that only applys to rx7 wankels, if your talking mazda injectors.
the injectors if you need to get are 460cc are marked 19500-2010 these are high impendence, the low impendence are 19500-1350.

Heres a few injectors choices between 240cc and 315cc

1992-'95 Civic Saturated 240cc
1996-'00 Civic ex/si Saturated 240cc
1992-'00 Integra LS/GS Saturated 240cc
1993-up Miata 1.8-liter Saturated 240cc
1997-up Prelude VTEC H22 Saturated 280cc
2000-up Celica GT-S Saturated 310cc
1993-up Supra non-Turbo Saturated 315cc

Saturated means that they are high impedance, so they work in our cars... maybe is easier for you to find one of those sets

get some used ford injectors. They are available for up to 42 lbs/min ( which is good for around 600hp)
You can also try a JY. Jeep cherokees with the inline 6 engine have high imp. 26 lbs/min injectors. You can score them pretty cheap ( I ussually get them for $5).

I think you have to find out by yourself... the main problem is the connector, Im not sure if any of those have the same connector as the mirage... the other thing is how long the injector is, but you can fix that by using a longer bolt to hold the fuel rail... I once tried the celica 310cc injectors and they had a different connector and they were taller

I've got early rx-7 low impedance orange/red top 450cc's in my 95 1.8l. Clips bolted up....no size probs.....hell, I still haven't put the resistors in yet either. And get this. I have no idea how this happened....but I got 35mpg out of my last tank of gas where I usually only get 32-33. I've got my safc turned down 50% all around.

ok if you are turboing a 1.5 go with either a set of 1.8 mirage injects or a set of 1.6 liter mivec injects... you can get the injects through rpw or vision.... or a board member with 1.8's

I suppose I could be wrong but I don't think the 1.8s are going to be enough for me. I don't want the injectors to be working at 100% capacity at full boost, or even close. I'd rather run large at 60-75% potential which is why I don't want to get anything less than the 275s.

Has anyone used the Siemens DEKA injectors? I'm wondering whether they will fit my clip or if I'll have to order one and splice it?

lbs x 10.5 = cc

36lb = 378 cc ??right?? That should be perfect, I think.

i dunno but i have rc 310cc low impeadence in my 1.8 and i have had no probs really and the shop i go to told me that u can go from high to low impeadence just not low to high. thats what they told me so dont quote me on that but i havent had any probs

You better start knocking on wood. I wil ltry to find the article when I get home but essentially it states that running low impedance on a hig impedance vehicle causes improper voltages or some crap in the circuit and fries the ECU. Will get the tech talk when I get home.

BTW, I have some Ford injectors that a friend gave me and they are too big around to fit in the fuel rail. The nozzle side seems to fit fine and length is the same. So fitment would be a concern.

I would recommend the Diamante's if they really are 3xx cc. Better chance that they will just bolt in and work.

Anyone know the cc for the EVO 8 injectors and if they are high imp (i'm guessing they are, and the cc is aroung 450)

The diamante uses a 3.0 and 3.5 liter motor. The 3.0l (6g72) is 210cc. Why? More cyls and don't need bigger injectors to do the job.
